The Recorded Seem Reference Center provides accessibility commercial and archival audio holdings from the Library of Congress. The gathering dates from 1926 when Victor Records contributed over 400 dvds towards the Library's Music Division to supplement its print and manuscript holdings. Within the custody of the children from the Movie Broadcasting and Recorded Seem Division since 1978, the gathering is continuing to grow to incorporate over two million products encompassing audio formats from cylinders to Compact disks. The holdings complement the area tracks from the American Folklife Center and also the moving image collections offered within the Movie and tv Reading through Room. |
